Rajesh is a strong believer in the culture of camaraderie and supportive inter-dependency. An inspiring leader with a robust strategy and execution track record, Rajesh has managed multi-billion dollar businesses that drove digital transformation at Global 2000 companies. In his over 23 year journey at Cognizant, he incubated several business units both traditional and cloud businesses, including Salesforce, Workday, IOT, Manufacturing. Logistics, Energy & Utilities and Engineering Services (IoT) and has integrated close to a dozen companies.
With 30 years of experience in the IT industry as well as in academia, Ramkumar has held executive leadership positions in several organizations that he has been part of. He is currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Professional Learning at Krea University. Prior to this, he was Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant, India responsible for the company’s largest global operations with over 200,000 employees. During his 22 years with Cognizant, he incubated over half a dozen portfolios. In the past three decades, Ramkumar has been a member of the Governing or Executive Council of several Chambers of Commerce and on the leadership boards of several universities. He is a Past Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in India, Past President of the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), a member of the Governing Council of NASSCOM Skill Sector Council, a member of the undergraduate board of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and among the leadership team at the Chennai Mathematical Institute.
A management professional with over 25 years of experience, Krishnan has been shaped by experiences garnered from two distinct worlds. The first is the importance of the ‘outside-in’ perspective of the corporate world gathered from his 13-year journey at The Hindu Business Line. The second perspective of ‘inside-out’ emerged from the next 13 years of his career at Cognizant where he was leading the Offshore Corporate Strategy team and a key member of the integrated Corporate Strategy, Marketing & Communications portfolio. This stint involved the incubation and operation of the Competitive Intelligence practice and later expanded to include long-term strategic planning, market sensing and opportunity scoping of the chosen “digital imperatives”.
Rajesh has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry spanning offshore delivery management, solution development, consulting, practice building and business development. Also a Cognizant veteran, Rajesh was Vice President of the organization’s healthcare practice and was instrumental in establishing Cognizant’s healthcare footprint in Europe. Rajesh was key to successful integrations of Cognizant's healthcare acquisitions (Trizetto and TMG Health to name a few ) and also established a first-of-its-kind large scale global product engineering organization, to enable faster product releases to the market by embracing next-gen technologies to help stay ahead of the curve. Rajesh has also executed complex programs using new outcome based models such as BPaaS to leading Healthcare Payers.
Ram Murali is a leader with 25+ years experience spanning Strategy, Operations, Talent Development in addition to leading large business units and incubating new capabilities. In his last role as Vice President in Cognizant's BPO Practice, he incubated the Analytics Practice as a CoE and transformed that into a P&L unit. Earlier from leading Continental Europe business unit for Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities (MLEU) vertical to COO of MLEU unit to Chief of Staff for President, Industry Solutions - Ram has had the illustrious experience of playing a variety of leadership roles, across business units in Cognizant. This has given him well-rounded expertise in the multiple facets of a business. His collaborative style of working with various stakeholders internal and external has been instrumental in building capability, nurturing talent, strengthening partnerships and growing the business.
Sairam is a global business leader with over three decades of experience in the IT industry. He has successfully led, nurtured and scaled several multi-billion global businesses and delivered transformative solutions for several Fortune 500 companies, helping them achieve their strategic business goals. Most recently, he was the SVP and Global Delivery Head for Cognizant's Health Sciences business, serving clients across payers, providers, bio-pharma and medical devices industries. Earlier in his career, he incubated Cognizant's Life Sciences business practice and led its growth from a fledgling Centre of Excellence to an industry-leading business unit. In his prior roles, he has led the global delivery for Cognizant's Quality Engineering and Assurance and the Banking and Financial Services businesses. In these roles, he shaped business strategy, drove innovation, and ensured successful business outcomes for global customers. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Managed Health Care professional with deep domain expertise in bio-pharmaceuticals, including regulatory affairs. During his long career at Cognizant, he pioneered domain-aligned knowledge process outsourcing deals and architected and implemented outcome-based service models including BPaaS. Sairam is passionate about making holistic education accessible to young children, cutting across all barriers. He actively volunteers for this cause, especially in rural India.
